There a couple of different things going on to generate this random album.
The Band Name
The band name comes from wikipedia.org. If you go to the random article area, you'll get a completely random article from the bowels of wikipedia. This tool gets that random title from wikipedia.
The Album Title
The Quotations Page has a random quote feature. This tool pulls in a random quote and strips off the last 4 or 5 words of it to become the album title.
The Picture
The behemoth Flickr has a "Last Seven Days" feature that pulls in random images uploaded over the last seven days. This tool pulls in a feed from flickr and finds an image that is big enough to make into an album cover. Additionally, the tool keeps track of which images you've used recently and skips over them if it duplicates.
Finishing it Up
Now that all of this information is gathered, the tool takes them all and makes a single image, using a variety of fonts, colors and font sizes. It's all for you, it's free, so enjoy!
