An Experienced Excavation Crew for Waco Sites

Css-imagine handles land excavation for builders, contractors, and homeowners across Waco, Texas and the surrounding McLennan County towns. Site preparation and grading, land clearing and grubbing, foundation digs, utility trenching, drainage work, and driveway base prep are the daily work of our crew. We have run machines on lots from Sanger Heights to the newer subdivisions off New Road, and we know how Central Texas ground behaves.

The blackland clay under Waco is the reason experience matters here. It swells after a wet week and shrinks through a dry August, so a pad that is not compacted to the right density will move under a slab. We build subgrade that accounts for that, and we confirm it with Standard Proctor and modified Proctor testing to the 95 percent that engineers call for. Careful compaction is the difference between a driveway that holds and one that cracks in a season.
